Practical: • Design of Adder and Subtractor using logic gates • Design and implementation of Code converters using logic gates

Introduction to Sequential Circuits – Flip-Flops – operation and excitation tables, Triggering of FF, Analysis and design of clocked sequential circuits – Design – Moore/Mealy models, state minimization, state assignment, circuit implementation – Registers – Counters. Practical: • Design and implementation of Multiplexer and Demultiplexer using logic gates • Design and implementation of 3-bit synchronous up/down counter
