Announcement
Computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) automation is the use of technology to streamline the design and manufacturing of products: CAD Creates computer models of parts or systems using geometrical parameters. CAD models can be viewed and altered on a computer monitor, and can be simulated to test how they would perform in the real world. CAM Uses geometrical design data to control automated machinery, such as CNC machines, to manufacture products. CAM software creates 3D toolpaths that instruct the machine how to make a product. Automation Uses technologies like robotics, automated conveyor systems, and mechatronics to automate manufacturing processes
